Nicole DeFlorio is the Transition and Family Services Director at Palm Beach School for Autism. She has over 20 years of experience working with students with disabilities, their families, school administrators, and staff. Nicole’s specialty is developing and implementing community-based and on-campus work experience training programs for students and providing resources and guidance to parents and staff. Nicole advises parents on issues such as vocational programs, guardianship, community-based recreational and supportive work programs, and much more. Additionally, Nicole is on the board of ICare, a local nonprofit, “without walls” adult day, recreational, travel club program for adults with various special needs. Outside of her professional role, Nicole is a single mother who enjoys spending time with her son, exercising, and learning to play golf. She is in the process of completing a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy program.
