Olga Bearhope is the Coordinator of Volunteer Services at the Palm Beach School for Autism. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with concentrations in psychology and sociology from Southern Connecticut State University and brings over 23 years of experience in the nonprofit and government sectors.
Throughout her career, she has held a variety of leadership roles, including Community Engagement Director, Senior Volunteer Manager, Mentoring Programs Manager, and Assistant Director. Her work centers on advocacy for children, teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with disabilities. She brings expertise in community engagement, volunteer management, training, event planning, direct services, and community organizing—especially in the areas of poverty, food insecurity, and disability rights.
Her passion for building strong, connected communities continues to drive her work today.
Originally from Connecticut, Olga moved to Florida with her husband, Gary, in 1994. Together they are proud parents of three young adults. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, caring for her parents, mentoring youth, reading, listening to music, and photography.
