Why Volunteer at PBSFA?

Volunteers are essential to our mission and help us provide innovative education and support to empower individuals with autism. Whether you’re assisting in classrooms, helping at events, or sharing your unique skills, your involvement makes a real impact.

You are a vital asset to our school and we simply couldn’t survive without your support!



Ways to Get Involved at PBSFA

There are many volunteer opportunities available at our school. If you have a specific area of interest and don’t see an opportunity listed below, reach out and we’ll see how we can make it happen:



Support:

– Help with classroom activities or special projects  

– Offer administrative assistance  

– Share your expertise by leading a workshop or class  

– Teach life skills sessions (financial literacy, social skills, career prep, etc.)  

– Lead a mindfulness or wellness activity

 
 

Events: 

– Assist with rotating and seasonal events

– Participate and/or assist with fundraisers

Experiences: 

– Offer internships or job-shadowing for students  

– Participate in or host a Career Day



Drives & Donations:  

– Organize Back-to-School or Holiday Gift Drives  

– Donate classroom supplies, gift cards, toys, and more
